The 'Softball' Era (2012-2019) - Chapter 1

I could set my recreational annual calendars very consistently during the Softball years as another passion of mine had resurfaced in 2012 with competitive sports. It successfully bridged my desire for off-hours social interaction, competitive sports, and a life-long love for the game of Baseball (softball in this case given our co-ed team nature). It provided a regular excuse to ensure that Life-long friendships, some dating 20+ years could be renewed and maintained for a 5-month block beginning each spring, as well as too many 'after-game' laughs to count.

At the end of the 2019 season, we had a year-end BBQ inviting all of the core members from our 8 seasons together and their S.O.'s to come out for one last proper send-off as a team. It was great to see you all up here, and Janelle & I wish you all nothing but the best in future as our life-long friends. Team picture gallery below.
